Far away to the north of the US is a province, a marvelous place called Alberta. Circumstances have conspired making it likely that Alberta will become the 51st US state.
The cookie I have alluded to here is the country of Canada. Many feel that as Alberta goes, so goes Saskatchewan. And then? British Columbia? Where will it end? I think Canada is starting to wonder.
I do think Alberta will join to US. Why? I just have the feeling. I think it would be great. The rest of Canada? Probably not. Welcome Alberta.
